Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Adapted Recreation and Inclusion - They offer a variety of programs for people with special needs, including adaptive aquatics, social gatherings, and more. Marian Kaslovsky is the super friendly therapeutic recreation specialist.

Special Olympics of Orange County - Swimming, golf, cycling and more for individuals with disabilities. I have heard great things about their classes from families who have worked with them.

Orange County Parks and Recreation - They have a really interesting line up of classes for people with autism, including golf, guitar, voice, piano, art, and theater.

Camp Royall - The Autism Society of North Carolina's beloved camp for children and adults on the spectrum. They have sleepover and day camps for individuals of all levels of functioning. People have only amazing things to say about Camp Royall.

North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center - Group and private therapeutic horse riding lessons in Mebane. I have heard great things about them from several families.

The A.C.C.E.P.T. Club - A monthly play date at Morreene Road Park in Durham for children with autism sponsored by the Autism Support and Advocacy Center. A lot of fun!

Acting is Awesome! - Drama therapists Amy Elliot (LPC) and Marley Tobin provide storytelling improv theater groups. These fun inclusion groups build teamwork and communication skills. Groups for ages 6 - up to adult.
